In recent years our business has developed extensive experience in the analysis of construction delays for a variety of projects as diverse as hospitals to police HQ’s to major high rise residential and even to building services related disputes on complex process engineering plants. Our Clients have ranged from owners and operators to architects to principal contractors and to specialist sub-contractors. Disputes have ranged in value from £200,000 to £6million. Finding resolute individuals who can apply modern programming skills combined with contractual and commercial awareness together with a hands-on experience of delivering projects and thereby understanding the nature of any dispute, can be tricky, but Southlands confidently boasts this aptitude. We can provide advanced programming and construction planning services by providing clients with experienced capable people. We can provide planning services, from pre-contract strategy and resource analysis, to contract programme preparation, to on site progress monitoring, to critical path and delay analysis using critical path methods within a range of modern software environments.
The company has provided on-site support on live projects in maintaining reliable and accurate records for clients, it has prepared and defended extension of time claims, and it has provided advice and assistance at extension of time disputes at adjudication hearings. We consider that we will always strive to to offer commercially sensible advice to clients so that they may make informed decisions in regard to the potential outcome of any claim before embarking on a commission.
